Service overview

A flexible option for groupage and full loads

Road freight works well when a shipment needs address-to-address handling, a flexible route or access to locations away from major rail terminals. LTL combines smaller compatible shipments, while FTL allocates a vehicle to one shipment.

Before dispatch, we review the cargo, packaging, pickup and delivery points and document requirements. We can then compare a direct road option with rail or multimodal alternatives and build the route around verified operating conditions.

When it fits

When road freight is a strong fit

  • The shipment needs door-to-door pickup and delivery.

  • The cargo does not fill a truck and can move as LTL groupage.

  • A large, sensitive or regular shipment needs a dedicated FTL vehicle.

  • The route includes destinations away from rail terminals.

Questions and answers

Road freight questions

01What is the difference between LTL and FTL?

LTL combines shipments from multiple customers in one vehicle. FTL allocates the vehicle to one shipment. The right option depends on volume, cargo characteristics, timing and budget.

02Can you collect from several suppliers?

Yes. We can coordinate multiple pickups, consolidate compatible cargo at a warehouse and prepare one onward shipment.

03What do you need for a quote?

We need the origin and destination, commodity description, weight, volume, package count, packaging and target timing. An HS code and product documents may be needed for a detailed review.

04Is door-to-door delivery available?

Yes, where the route and local access conditions allow it. The exact address, unloading requirements and permits are checked before confirmation.
